Stories of Apoopan and Amooma
Amooma means Grandma and Apoopan means Grandpa in Malayalam. In Kerala, children grow up listening to the many escapades of Amooma and Apoopan. There is a pleasant timeless quality about these simple stories. The book takes you back to childhood, and memories of dark nights, when your own grandmother told you such stories, and put you to sleep.

Aspirations
The book Aspirations is divided in to two short novels to describe contrasting situations. The first story is about a teenage girl facing her board exams. The exams dominate every event of the young girl's life. In the end, however, she is able to attain her goal with hard work. The second story is about a young woman pursuing a PhD in mathematics in America, and how 911 affects her career. This story tells us how for personal success, individual effort is not enough, but that society must play its part well too.
